What do you own? What is yours? Many people falsely believe in the concept of ownership. Ownership is a worldly value, stewardship is a Godly value. There is only one owner…and that is God. He…and He alone owns all that He has made. This is His world…He just lets us live in it! PHEW! Doesn’t that make you feel better? It should…All of the stuff that you have been worrying about…it is not yours to worry about. We are much more like renters than owners! We get to take care of everything that God has given us until IT wears out or WE wear out! Now…here is what we need to know…we are accountable to God for how we handle or take care of what He has given us!

I have noticed a problem in many families in the church…have you noticed it? It is a lack of faith. I have noticed that many families do not know how to instill and inspire faith in their children. There are several reasons for that…we have men that do not lead their families in matters of faith. We need godly, faith-filled men. There is a phrase that is repeated over and over again in the Old Testament and New Testament…here it is. I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…these are all men! Men…faith is not for weaklings and women! Your family needs…the church needs…bold, faith filled men! When Jesus came preaching and teaching…He called 12 men to be his disciples! Jesus invited women too! Thank God for women! Thank God for Mary and Martha, thank God for Eunice, and Priscilla and many other women who have served the Lord! Faith is for all ages and both genders! Families today need the faith of their Fathers and Mothers!

Have you noticed how hard it is to raise a family? Have you noticed that there is wickedness and temptation everywhere? Did you know that there is a real danger in becoming numb to the things that the world values. Listen God has a plan for you and for your family. God has a plan and purpose for you and for your children. Hey…are you listening to me today? The devil is out to destroy you and your children’s lives…and you may not know why…I will tell you why…it might not be because of where you are…it could be because of where you are going! Listen…God is taking you somewhere…God is taking your family somewhere. Guess what…the devil is going to try to tear you and your family down. Wickedness and evil always fights God's plan! Are you getting this…this morning? The devil uses every kind of temptation and wickedness and violence to get your family out of God’s will! Listen…the Devil doesn't always fight where you are at…sometimes he fighting where you are going.
